The above video is a medley of bransles. Their Maltese Bransle is from 1:01 to 1:34 and is pretty close to how we dance it, except that we all go in together. The dance often called “Maltese Bransle” in the SCA is Schiarazula Marazula.
Instructions
A1: Double left. Single right. A2: Repeat.
B1: Take two steps toward the center, then 3 double-speed steps into the center. Right foot kick, then pivot on the right foot, ending facing outward with a left kick. Bring your left foot down and end with three small kicks: left, right, left. B2: The same going out.
Repeat.
NOTE: Can be done holding hands, but usually done without.
